Eleanor Hoyt Reed, 97 of Temple, TX passed away on December 7, 2015 in Temple, TX. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, TX. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, TX. Burial will follow at Great House Cemetery.
Eleanor was born on January 23, 1918 to Hoyt and Myrtle Forrester in Rogers, Texas. She married the love of her life Marshall Reed in 1939. Some of Eleanor’s favorite hobbies were shopping, golfing, music and watching sports. She was also a member of Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church, Temple, TX.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and husband.
Eleanor is survived by one nephew, Randy Cross and wife Patsy, nieces Judy Whitley, Katy Marshall and Fran Fairchild and husband Perry.
