Jay Call, age 54, of Bruceville-Eddy, passed away May 22, 2021, unexpectedly but peacefully at his home. Jay Call was born in July 1966 in Mesquite, Tx. He grew up on a farm in The Texas Panhandle and attended Shallowater High School. He met his wife, Rhonda, at the age of 17 and they were married for almost 36 years. Jay never met a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and all that Mother Nature had to offer. Family was his greatest priority and he never met a challenge he wouldn’t face. Jay is preceded in death by his mother, Paulette Lamb, and his grandparents, J.W. and Ruth Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, their two children, Clovis and Stormi, and his sisters, Paula Call Cornejo and Sandy Lamb. Memorial services for Jay will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple, Tx on May 29, 2021 at 1:00pm.
