Katherine was born in Redwood, Texas on February 6, 1925 to Archie Reid Preece and Katie Mae Fleming. She became a Registered Nurse during World War II and served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps. Katherine married Jesse H. Wisener in June 1953 and moved to Temple Texas where the two of them raised their family. She spent much of her professional life as an OR nurse at the VA hospital in Temple before retiring back to Redwood around 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse H Wisener. She is survived by her four children Alicia Gale and husband John, Jenise Bombulie and husband Jim, Warren Wisener and wife Denise, and Jesse Wisener Jr and by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There will be a visitation at the Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Temple, Texas on February 25 from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm and interment will follow at the Redwood Cemetery at 2:00pm on Feb 26, 2022.
