Nelta was preceded in death by her husband William A. Wigley, her parents, Lena and Doolan Brooks, her grandchildren, Adam and Lance Wigley, her sisters Rayma White and Della Curtis her brothers RD Brooks and Franklin Brooks.
Nelta Wigley is survived by her brother, kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
Nelta succumbed to death with her youngest son, Jimmie present. During her final days she was accompanied by her son Jimmie and daughter Deborah.
Nelta was an U.S. Air Force wife and had several jobs to include med tech at Scott & White hospital.
She enjoyed crafts, camping and traveling.
A Visitation for Nelta will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 3220 South 31st Street, Temple, TX. A Funeral Service will be Friday, August 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM, at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Valley Cemetery in Salado, Texas.
