Arthur Dale Foltz

Arthur Dale Foltz, known by family and friends as Dale, passed away quietly on March 3, 2016. Born August 10, 1922 to Paul and Hazel Foltz of Clinton IN, he was truly part of the Greatest Generation. He was preceded in death by his much loved wife of nearly 60 years, Dorothy June Travis Foltz. He is survived by 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild

His children are Warren (Anita) Foltz of West Lafayette, IN, Mary Ann (Randy) Tatlock of Zionsville, IN, Eleanor Aimone of Clinton, IN, Dean (and Melanie) Foltz of Gilbert, AZ., and Amy Willis of St. Augustine, FL. Grandchildren are Michelle, Mitch, Nick, Chris, Kate, Caleb, Mario, Jon, Becky, Kristina, Nate, Tara and Trey. Great-grandchildren are Daniel, Hannah, Veronica, Alex, Xavier, Ada, Gideon, Nora, Halle and Burke, and great-great grandchild Sophia.

Dale farmed in rural Clinton and retired from Peabody Coal in 1981.Dale was a long time member of Wayside United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching his children participate in 4-H and sports events, his family, crossword puzzles, The Clintonian, I.S.U. and Purdue basketball, and chatting at length with friends and family.

Services will be Sunday at 3:30PM March 6, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral home with a visitation Sunday from 1:30PM until service time at 3:30PM. Officiating will be Rev Terry Jeffers.
