

Barbara Ann Kuhn, 88, of Brazil and formerly of Rosedale, died at 2:50 am Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. She was a homemaker and retired from the switchboard and print shop at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, with 17 years of service. She was born April 27, 1927, in Terre Haute to the late Curtis Hopkins and Amy Regina Woodruff Hopkins.
Her husband of 31 years, Gervus Edwin Kuhn, whom she married May 13, 1948, in Rosedale, died Sept. 20, 1979.
Survivors include one son, Steve (Debby) Kuhn of Linton; two daughters, Jeanie (Jim) Lane of Brazil and Teresa (Jeff) Coffin of Bloomfield; one sister, Jean Hendrix of Rosedale; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Hopkins of Rockville and Martyne Graham of New Goshen; 11 grandchildren, Jude Irving, Angela (Ron) Swiney, Jason (Sarah) Howard, Nathan (Erin) Lane, Miranda (Greg) Eckart, Jonathan (Jamie) Lane, Michelle (Vance) Feutz, Christina Coffin, Stephanie Coffin, Lyndsey (Jered) Jacob and T.C. (Danielle) Kuhn; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Tony Kuhn; one daughter, Judith Kuhn; two brothers, John E. Hopkins and James Hopkins; one sister, Elizabeth Prall.
She was a 1945 graduate of Rosedale High School and attended Indiana State University. She was a member of the Bridgeton Baptist Church, Spring Creek Home Economics Club, Rosedale Chatter and Stitch Club and Delta Sigma Sorority.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Bridgeton Baptist Church, with Pastor Jack E. Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Terre Haute. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Bridgeton Baptist Church. Care and arrangements were entrusted to Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, Rosedale.
