Billie Gene McCloud

Billie Gene McCloud, 74, of Terre Haute, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born May 2, 1940, in Linton, Ind., to William Wesley McCloud and Anna May Bennett McCloud.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha E. Wolfe Conley McCloud, on Oct. 7, 2011.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Anna Marie Patterson and James Patterson of Terre Haute; his stepchildren, Troy “Skip” Conley III and his wife Paula, Diana “Dee-Dee” Conley Magnetti and her companion Bill Wortman, Jeffrey J. Conley and his wife Mary Beth, and Timothy T. Conley all of Terre Haute; two sisters, Judy Moody and her husband Bill, and Martha Peltier; 11 grandchildren, Addison Patterson, Colin Patterson, Troy Conley IV and his wife Michelle, John Conley and his fiancée Stephanie, Scott Conley and his wife Amy Jo, Alaina “Nicki” Conley, Meredith Koontz and her husband Zachary, Kiana Magnetti, Michael Conley and his wife Jessica, Matthew Conley and his fiancée Crystal, and Lindsay Javonovich and her husband Ryan; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a stepson, Kenneth Alan Conley; and four stepsisters, Pauline Arkey, Mary Phiphs, Virginia Gibson and Roselyn Strole.

He was a member of the former Good Sheppard Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, baking, being outdoors doing yard work, hunting or golfing. Funeral services for Billie will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with Father Matthew Malek officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time Monday.
