David Edward Fields

David Edward Fields (“Bimbo”), 74, of Terre Haute, passed away on January 9, 2021. David was born on November 13, 1946 to Lester and Iva Jean (Grayless) Fields in Terre Haute, Indiana. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joed Fields; His three children, Shelly Butts (Bill), Rona O’Rourke (Tony), and Billy Carson (Amanda); along with 7 grandchildren, Sean, Shauna, Alyssa, Layne, Tucker, Jayden, and Savannah; 6 great-grandchildren, Coleson, Carthur, Cohen, Shanlee, Aurora, and Bensen; and his sister Judith Herbaugh (Sheldon). David served his country in the United States Army. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 180 of Rosedale, Indiana. David was also a lifetime member of the Murdock Club. In his spare time, David enjoyed to spend his time outdoors going deer hunting. David like to cheer on his beloved Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Most of all, David loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lester Fields; and sister, Connie Downs. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 14, 2021 at 11am with a visitation, prior to the service, from 10am-11am. Roselawn was entrusted with the arrangements.
