David Ray Goodwin

David Ray Goodwin, 71, of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Union Hospital. He was born on December 28, 1949, in Terre Haute, to Donald and Madonna (Carrigg) Goodwin. David is survived by his wife, Deborah Goodwin; daughters, Jennifer Utz (Brad), Lisa Jackson, and Barbara Rost (Aaron); grandchildren, Cole Utz (Brianna), Renée Utz, Caitlyn Utz, Cassidy Jackson, Emily Jackson, and Felicity Rost; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; and a grandson, Jason Utz. David worked for A & P Grocery. He also worked for and retired from INDOT. David served in the Indiana Air National Guard, retiring after 20 years. An avid reader, David loved books but nothing could compare to the love he had for his family. Private graveside services will be held. David will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berean Baptist Church.
