He was born on March 21, 1957 to Emil F. Norris and Ida P. Norris (Wheatfill) in Terre Haute, IN.
David was a hardworking and dedicated 45-year employee of the Cadillac Products Packaging Company of Paris IL. He was a graduate of South Vigo High School, Class of 1975.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kathy Norris; his children: Chastity Jones (Chaifton) of Dallas, Texas, and Jennifer Deal (Richard) of Rosedale, IN; 3 grandchildren: Zachary Brown, Ethan Davis (Abby), and Kristiana Hill; and his great-grandchildren, Matthew and Camila. He is also survived by his brother, James Norris (Debra) of Paris, IL; and his niece, Christina Clark and nephew, Matthew Norris.
David enjoyed gardening and go shopping for his snacks. He also loved his quiet time at home.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lynn Ann Norris Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm. Service will begin at 8pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow after services are completed.
