Doris Mae Bemis

Doris Mae Bemis, 88 of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on September 7, 2015. She was born in Terre Haute, IN to James and Jessie Draper on March 8, 1927. Doris loved spending time with her family, traveling, playing bingo and cards. She was an avid collector of various treasures and she touched the lives of the many children she took care of through the years.

She is survived by her sister, Ada Kitner, of Las Vegas, NV; her children, Ralph T. Bemis II of Cabot, AR; Ivan Bemis and wife Peggy of Saint Peters, MO; son-in-law, Jeff Feller of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph T. Bemis, her daughter Starla K. Feller, her sisters Viola Weaver, Blanch Owens, Audrey Loehmann, and her brother, Marion Draper.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Blackburn officiating.
