Hallie Jean Hudson

She was born January 2, 1928 in Terre Haute, along with her identical twin sister, the daughter of Donald and Laura (Laney) Hudson.

Jean graduated from State High School in Terre Haute with the class of 1946. Following her graduation, she began her employment with R.H. Donnelly, retiring in 1987 following 36 years of service.

A strong and devout faithful woman, Jean was a dedicated member of the Maple Ave. United Methodist Church. She always had a smile and loved bringing joy to those around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Jean is survived by her two nephews, Tony Gazzoli of Springfield, IL and Nick and wife Kristy Gazzoli of Mahomet, IL., along with many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her twin sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Nick Gazzoli.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of Jean’s funeral at 1 p.m. at the Roselawn Funeral Home in Terre Haute. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. In memory of Jean, memorial contributions may be directed to the Lighthouse Mission or the Maple Ave. United Methodist Church.
