

Helen Louise Clark, age 96, of Terre Haute, went home on November 7th. Helen was born to Michael Lambert and Matilda Stadler Lambert on October 29, 1918 in Terre Haute. She was a graduate of Garfield High School. Helen worked as a seamstress for a Dry Cleaner in the Twelve Points Area and for a Clothing Factory on Poplar. She also worked as a clerk for Cahill’s Package Liquors at 17th and Poplar. She married Ralph Clark, a World War II veteran in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1952. Helen was an avid sports fan and loved, loved, loved the Cubs, Colts and Pacers!
Helen is survived by her niece, Kay Hays (Philip, aka Vern) of The Villages, FL;Nephew, Mike Loudermilk (Jane) of Greenwood, IN;Great-nieces, Laura Hale (Richard), Carol Siverly, Lisa Smith (John), and Cheryl Auler all of West Terre Haute, and Tammy Beniger (Steve) of Vienna, VA; great-nephews, Ken Fries (Debbie) of Danville, IN, Tim Hays (Didi) of Leesburg, VA, Jay Loudermilk (Tina) of Greenwood, IN, and Bill Loudermilk of Greenwood, IN; 8 great-great nephews and 9 great-great nieces; and 5 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, and 5 sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Memories at Roselawn Memorial Park. Thomas Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Friends and family may share memories and words of comfort at www.thomasfuneralhome.net.
