Hubert Jacob Dickerson

Hubert Jacob Dickerson, age 69, of Rosedale, Indiana passed away on May 22, 2024. He was born January 8, 1955 in Terre Haute, Indiana to George Daniel Dickerson and Rosemary Ethelen Dickerson (Richey).

Hubert is survived by his wife Jonnie Dickerson (Mize). Seven children: Jacob Dickerson (Marie), Steven Dickerson (Samantha), Robert Smith (Jamie), Jesse Smith, Autumn Morlan,Seth Baysinger and Janice Higgins. Thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren with two on the way. He is also survived by his two sisters-in-law's, Wanda Sue Dickerson, Wanda Lou Dickerson and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rosemary; Siblings- Linda, Danny, George Arthur, Clifford and Angel Dickerson. Also, the mother of 3 of his children, Connie Dickerson (Johnson).

Hubert retired from the Labor Union. He loved his family with all of his heart, enjoyed working in his yard, fishing and tinkering in his man cave. Nothing was more important to him than taking care of his family and helping others when he could. Hubert was born on Elvis Presley's birthday and said he was just as good looking as Elvis. He loved making people laugh, had the most contagious smile and was full of love, laughter and compassion.

A visitation for family and friends for Hubert will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
