Irene Faye Austin

She was born October 27, 1944 in Yuma, CO to Troy and Mary Evelyn (Lockard) Lambert. She was employed at Time Warner Cable in Terre Haute for over 25 years, where she served as a customer service representative.

Irene was a strong person of faith and attended Lakeridge Church in Paris, IL. She loved puzzles and spending time with her great grandsons in Paris.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mark, her parents, stepfather Quinn Ethington, brother James Ethington, sister Quinette Ethington, and daughter-in-law Toni Austin.

She is survived by her son Mark Austin of Terre Haute, daughter-in-law Angela (Mike) Wilson of Paris, IL, sisters Eileen Murdock of West Terre Haute, Georgia (Jim) Cooper of Terre Haute, Ruth (Willard) Sanquenetti of Clinton, Julie (Sheila) King of Terre Haute, brother William Ethington of West Terre Haute, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 9 at 11:00am at the Quabache Shelter in Deming Park in Terre Haute. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Epilepsy Foundation Indiana, 1100 West 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
