Jerry Lee Cunningham, 77, passed away on Monday April 2, 2018 in his residence. He was born August
10, 1940, in Terre Haute, to John J. Cunningham and M. Evaree Scank Cunningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Joe Cunningham and Robert McCalister, and son-in-law, Michael Schlosser.
He is survived by two daughters Barbara McCalister and Julie Schlosser; one son David Cunningham; one
brother, John Ray Cunningham; four grandchildren, Jacob Schlosser, Alan Schlosser, Austin Cunningham and John Cunningham; and a special niece Tammi Houser, who was like a daughter to him.
Jerry was the owner-operator of Cunningham’s Fine Foods, a family owned business that operated for
64 years on the near Northside. He was a life member of St. Ann Catholic Church and then attended
Sacred Heart after the St. Ann parish was closed. He attended St. Ann School and Schulte High School.
Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018 from 11 AM to 12 noon in Roselawn Funeral Home with graveside
services to immediately follow the visitation in Roselawn Memorial Park with Deacon Steve Gretencord officiating.
He was cared for in his final weeks with the help of Hospice of the Wabash Valley, his loving daughters
and former wife Nancy. Good times filled with love and laughter.
