Jo Ann Durham

Jo Ann (Metz) Durham, 87 of Terre Haute, passed away March 23, 2016 at Vermillion County Convalescent Center in Clinton. She was born on May 21, 1928 to Charles and Adah Metz in Clinton, Indiana. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1946. Jo Ann was involved in many organizations within her community and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ at Fairview. More than anything, Jo Ann loved taking care of others and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Lyman Durham; her parents; two grandsons, Greg and Cameron; sister, Madelyn Oswalt; Edna Mae Foster; and Chuck Metz.

Jo Ann is survived by her children Paula (Mike) Blair, Stephen (Cindy) Durham, and Eric (Carol) Durham; grandchildren, Lee Ann (Daryl) Hutson, Michelle Blair, Christine (Jason) Muncy, Megan (Colin) Newton, Ryan (Lauren) Durham, and Levi (Kerstan) Durham; and great-grandchildren, Tabor Blair, Trent Hutson, Gracie Durham, Hadley and Jocie Newton, and Madelyn Muncy.

A service will be held in Jo Ann’s honor at Roselawn Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Randy McPike officiating. A visitation will be held prior to service from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy can shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
