Leroy Elmer Gifford

He was born December 26, 1943 to Loyal Gifford and Clare Gifford (Helton) in Corning, NY.

Leroy retired from Weston Paper after 42 years of hard work and dedication as a paper maker.

Leroy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda K. Gifford; their children: Linda Sue Brock, Leroy Gifford Jr. (Angie), and Paul Gifford; grandchildren, Anasthaysia, Loyal, Trevor, Christopher (Jessica) Rowe, Jamie (Levi) Ashcraft, Justin (Alisha) Rowe; and their 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his four brothers, David Gifford, Phillip Gifford, Jim Gifford, and Albert Gifford.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his three siblings: Joe, John, and Dorothy.

Leroy loved his old country music. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing search and find puzzles. Most of all, he enjoyed spending his time with his loving wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 4-8pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Service will be be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 2pm with a visitation prior from 1-2pm. A chapel Committal service will follow.

Leroy will be laid to rest in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Roselawn Memorial Park.
