Margaret Jane Mahurin

Margaret J. Mahurin, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was born on March 6, 1937 in Terre Haute to George Porter Ketchem and Irene Pearl Wetnight Ketchem. Margaret was a graduate of Union Hospital Nursing Program, and was a Registered Nurse at Union Hospital, Dr. Crockett's practice and the VNA at Union Hospital. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Ron Mahurin; three children, Doug (Diana) Mahurin, David (Patricia) Mahurin, and Laura Mahutchin; a sister Judith A. Roberts; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one more on the way. Margaret was a former member of the O.E.S. and had a love of Quilting and sewing, making clothes for children and Prayer Shawls. In keeping with Margaret's wishes a Celebration of Life will be private, with inurnment in Summit Lawn Cemetery.
