Mary Myrtle Mace

Mary was born September 9, 1927 in Terre Haute, IN to Harley and Essie Long.

Mary married Howard T. Mace Sr. April 13,1947. They recently celebrated their 78th wedding anniversary.

Mary is survived by her husband Howard; daughter Linda Overberg (Dennis); son Howard Mace Jr. (Darlene); son Carl L. Mace (Renee); daughter Monica Jozwiak (David); one sister Deloris Scarbrough of Port St. John, FL; three sisters-in-law Anna Ruth Long of Terre Haute, Mary Koch of Rosedale; and Dorothy Milner of Bellmore, IN; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that monetary donations be made to Fontanet Action Community Team at P.O. Box 82 Fontanet, IN 47851.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN 47805. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN 47805. A burial will occur Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park, 7500 N Clinton St, Terre Haute, IN 47805.
