Mary Ellen Molnar

Mary Ellen (Rehmels) Jones-Molnar, born June 6, 1929, rose to the arms of our heavenly Father on January 12 2013. Miss Mary was born and spent her childhood in the Terre Haute, IN area. She then moved to Three Rivers-Constantine, MI area, where she married and raised her family. Mary spent, many years as a member of the Three Rivers Church of God.

For the past 13 years, Mary made her home in New Market, Tennessee. She loved to call the Great Smoky Mountains her home. She was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church her entire time in Tennessee.

Mary is survived by two children, a daughter, Deborah L. Meringa, New Market, TN, and a son Mr. and Mrs. Arrel Jones, Jr., of Shipshewana, IN; grandchildren, Vallerie Brothers of Sturgis, MI, Mr. and Mrs. R. (Stephanie) Bontrager, Colon, MI, Summer Meringa, Three Rivers, MI, Mr. and. Mrs. Joseph Meringa, Sturgis, MI, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Meringa, Colon, MI, Mr. and Mrs. M. (Deanie) Finley, Sturgis, MI, and Mr. and Mrs. J. (Janie) Yoder, Goshen, IN; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gayle Pruitt of Terre Haute, and several nieces and nephews in the Terre Haute and Michigan areas.

After a long illness, Mary passed away at her home in Tennessee. She requested to be brought back to her home and family in Terre Haute, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15 from 4-8 and on Wednesday, January 16 from 4 to 8 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, IN.
