Mary C. Pastorius

Mary Catherine Pastorius, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 1, 1933, in Burnett, to James and Opal (Day) Baker. Mary is survived by her children, David Pastorius, Danny Pastorius, and Marsha Drake and husband Bob, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Jon Pastorius, Julie Pastorius, Amy Cotton, Christy Froschaur, Michael Pastorius, Jamie Key, Mark Ralston, Kathy Griffin, Mandi Hoar, Gary Drake, and Ashley Kelley; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max Pastorius; infant son, Gary Max Pastorius; brother, Garland Baker; and sisters, Beatrice Jones, Violet Webb, and Agnes Havens. Mary graduated from Otter Creek High School. She worked for many years in the dietary department at Meadows Manor North. She was a member of the Burnett Home Economics Club and the Burnett Bible Church. Mary loved to spend time with her family. She doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Herb officiating. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband in Roselawn Memorial Park.
