Nancy Rose Nicoson, 75 passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Providence Health Care, St. Mary-Of-The-Woods surrounded by her family. She was born September 21, 1943 in Terre Haute to Gilbert A. Bunch and Betty L. (Lowe) Bunch. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Gilbert Bunch, Jr. Nancy is survived by her husband of 53 years Barry L. Nicoson; her sons Mike Allen [Diana], Shane Allen [Sherri] and Barry Nicoson [Lori]; her daughter Denise Montgomery [Chuck]; grandchildren Joshua Allen [Bailee], Micahlyn White [James], Jordan Allen, Devan Allen [Alli], Alyssa Petrowski [Josh], Alexis Sutliff [Michael], Kierstyn Gregg [Jacob], Keaton Allen, Ashley Lowe [Michael], Travis Nicoson [Allie], Jennifer Morley [Jimmy] and Regan McCarty; great-grandchildren Lucy Hayne, Ella Lowe, Leah McMasters, Mason Petrowski, Bailey Morley, Leo Morley, Charlee Milam and a great-grandchild due in August; sisters Martha Cook [Don] and Debbie Braun [Bob]; and several close nieces & nephews including Keith [Janet], Mary Ann [Mike], Jim, Robin [Connie], Missy, Chrissy, John, Matt[Brooke], Kim, Kenny Dean [Cherryl], Troy [Cheryl], Starla [Randy] and Derek; sister-in-laws Nadine, Barbara and Carolyn. She enjoyed working with the Vigo County School Corporation as a Teachers Aid for 13 years at Deming Elementary School. She was an excellent baker and cake decorator! Above all she loved her family dearly and especially taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of the caregivers at Union Hospital and Providence Health Care at St. Mary-Of-The Woods for all their love and support. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM in St. Patrick Church, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 2:00 PM in the church with Fr. Daniel Bedel officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park.
