Patricia is survived by a son, William Patrick Egan of Indianapolis; her daughter, Elizabeth Egan of Terre Haute; grandchildren: Maggie, Hunter, and Makayla; sister, Kathleen (Bill) Janis; brother, James Egan III, Timothy Egan; and Daniel (Cheryl) Egan.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband Gary Ford.
Patricia was a hippie at heart, always forgiving, accepting, and loving to all. She loved pictures of family and friends and going to yard sales. Pat was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held from 2 to 7 on October 4, at the Senior Center in Washington Park in Michigan City. In her always giving spirit, Pat donated her body to science for the IU Anatomical Education Program, in hopes of enriching the lives of the future medical doctors and the patients whose lives they will touch.
