Peggy Sue West Brandenburg, 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away in her home on February 23, 2020. She was born October 7, 1944 in Frankfort, Indiana to Roger Sterling West and Laura Wattles West. She was married to Gerald “Brandy” Brandenburg in 1959 who preceded her in death in 1999 after 40 years of marriage.
Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice Norton and Betty Harris; and daughter-in-law Tammi Brandenburg and her beloved cat, Callie.
Peggy is survived by her three sons, Roger Brandenburg of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Robert (Gaylene) Brandenburg of Terre Haute, Indiana and Randy (Donna) Brandenburg of Frisco, Texas; bother, Crawford West of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, Ashley (Donald) Doan, Ryan (Jessica) Brandenburg, and Rusty Brandenburg all of Terre Haute, Indiana and Kirsten and Reagan Brandenburg of Frisco, Texas; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and close friends, Margaret Jones, Patty Rogers and Brenda Ramponi all of Terre Haute, Indiana.
Peggy retired from the Vigo County School Corporation in 2004 where she worked as a cook for Terre Haute North Vigo High School for many years. She always loved cooking whether for family, friends or her students.
The Family would also like to express gratitude for the Physicians and staff of Dr. Bittar, Dr. Markett, Dr. Jaffri and Dr. Gaurav, who have graciously cared for her over the years.
Services will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Street, Terre Haute, Indiana on February 27, 2020 with visitation from 11am until time of services at 1pm. Burial is at Roselawn Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Lilly. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
