Ralph E. Jenkins, 54, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Union Hospital. He was born on January 28, 1960, in Vigo County, to Jerry and Elizabeth (Osborne) Jenkins, Sr. Ralph worked for many years at Vigo Bowl. He was a member of the Murdock Racing Club. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Most of all, Ralph cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
Ralph is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Jenkins of Terre Haute; three brothers, Jerry Jenkins, Jr., Dale Jenkins and his wife Melissa, and Carl Jenkins, all of Terre Haute; three daughters, Crystal Jenkins, Heather Jenkins, and Elizabeth Jenkins, all of Terre Haute; an aunt, Lois Hamer of Clinton; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jenkins, Sr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Fifth Third Bank in Ralph’s name to assist his family with final expenses.
