Robert Ellery Bissey III

Robert Ellery Bissey III, 53, of Terre Haute passed away Monday May 5, 2014 in his residence. Bob was born January 18, 1961 in Terre Haute to Robert Ellery Bissey II and Joyce Varda Williams. He was a 1979 graduate of Terre Haute North High School where he served as the class president that year. Bob always carried a smile on his face and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed inventing different things, and even had the opportunity to go to New York City and try out for America’s Got Talent. He enjoyed singing karaoke and bowling. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren which held a very special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his father. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Williams. He is survived by his mother; Joyce Williams, one daughter; Marie Bissey, two brothers; Jimmy Bissey and Chad Steenerson; stepbrother, Lance Williams; two grandchildren; Myra and James Conger, as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones. As were Bob’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and burial will take place on Thursday May 29, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Salvation Army or Club Soda in Terre Haute.
