Robert G. Galbraith, 84, of Brazil, died at 8:37 a.m. April 10, 2014, in St. Vincent Clay Hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Cloverland, Ind., to Robert Galbraith and Elsie Harrell Galbraith. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran after 36 years. He also had worked at Wabash Fiber Company before his retirement. He was a member of Rio Grande Full Gospel Church and the American Legion Post #2 in Brazil.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Galbraith; and wife, Susie Galbraith. He is survived by two sons, Richard Galbraith of Mexico and Robert L. Galbraith of Terre Haute; one daughter, Lisa and Todd Supp of Ohio; six grandchildren, Holli and Brian Hill, Brett Knoblett, Ashton Supp, Cole Supp, Alanna Galbraith and Blaise Galbraith; and four great-grandchildren, Briana Knoblett, Carter Knoblett, Allie Hannahan and Colton Hill.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Frist Funeral Home in Clinton. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Frist, with the Rev. Sam Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Military honors will be performed by Scott Air Force Base and VFW #1172.
