He was preceded in death by his father.
Russell is survived by his wife of 46 years Brenda Baunmk Martin whom he loved dearly; his son Jason (Ashley) Martin of Rockville; 3 granddaughters Rilee Martin, Olivia Martin & Bree McGrannahan; 2 brothers Eric Martin, Bloomington, IN & Robert Martin, Terre Haute; nieces Molly Martin & Brandy McHugh Martin.
Russell was a young man when he joined the Air Force. He was a Bio-med Technician at Union Hospital for many years and retired this past October from GE Health. He was a member of Maryland Community Church.
Visitation will be Monday, June 4, 2018 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home with Pastor Ric May officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In-lieu-of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley, 400 8th Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47804.
