Samuel Lowell Cox, 59 of Fontanet, passed away Aug. 20th at his home. He was born 12/10/1952 in Terre Haute to David Earl Cox & Mary Green Cox. He was a 20 year veteran at Putnamville Correctional Facility. He also worked for Hughes Aircraft
and he was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by wife Rebecca Cox, sons Levi Cox, Richard Epple, Nathan Epple a grandson Brayden Epple & his mother Kelly Kenny, brothers Clifford Cox, Mike Early, Gilbert Davis & James Davis, sisters Nancy Kirby, Betty Swiger & Sharon Cooper, several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by parents David Earl Cox & Mary Green Davis, brother Ted Cox.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Levi Cox for his education. Memorial services will be Monday August 27th 1:00pm at Mattox Wood Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be prior to service from 11:00 – 1:00 officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Price. Burial will be at Black Cemetery.
