Sheila A. Johnson, 60, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at her home in Terre Haute surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Linton, Indiana to Shirley and Norman Bradley. She grew up in the area and attended Shakamak schools.
She held the position as an Administrative Assistant in the Indiana Department of Children Family Services. She was a member of the Union Christian Church. Sheila loved attending basketball games, whether it was I.S.U. playing or North High School. More than anything, Sheila loved spending time with her family.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Kenneth Johnson; her daughter Jayme Copeland and husband, Aaron; her mother, Shirley; granddaughter, Reegan Copeland; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held in Sheila’s honor on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Senior Minister of N.T.H.C.C. Chris McKinney will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Terre Haute Women’s Club Shoe Bus or the Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
