Sheila Kay Smith

Sheila Kay Smith, age 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Sheila was born December 5, 1949 in Sullivan County to Murvin Ridge and Eloise Hatfield Ridge. Sheila was a Certified Nurses Aid, and had been employed at Visiting Nurses Association for over 32 years. She was a member of American Legion Post 346 Auxiliary. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Alva Smith, Sr.; two granddaughters, Grace Elizabeth Gallion and Subrina Nichole Smith; four sisters, three brothers. Surviving are her children, Dave Slaven, Jr. and wife Sherry, Janet Barrett, Danielle Keegan, and Charles Gallion and wife Micah; six brothers, Mike, Jack, Steve, Joe, Dick, Larry Ridge; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson. Sheila will be laid to rest next to Alva at Roselawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be announced at future date.
