Sue Ann Jones

Sue A. Jones, 90, of West Terre Haute, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at home.  She was born December 11, 1935 to Earl & Reatha Brown in Belmont, IL.  She was introduced to her soulmate, James W. Jones, in 1951 by her brother, Joe Brown, while the two served together in the Army during the Korean War.  Upon Jim's return from serving in the Korean War, they married on March 5, 1954.  During the next 70 years they built a family & home filled with love and many happy memories shared by all who know them. We rejoice that she is reunited in Heaven with her soulmate Jim, who passed away in 2024.  She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Holsinger & Linda Brown (Dave) all of West Terre Haute, IN. Four grandchildren, Heather Holsinger Williams, Josh Holsinger, Dustin Brown, Jessica Smith and their families, including five great-grandchildren.  She was a licensed cosmetologist, the neighborhood Avon lady and most importantly, a loving family matriarch. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.  Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.  Visitation is Friday, April 10, 2026 between 11:00am - 1:00pm at Roselawn with service starting at 1:00pm.
