Thomas William Simon

Thomas “Tom Bill” William Simon passed on Thursday November 6, 2014 in Terre Haute. Thomas was born January 26, 1972 to Thomas H. and Janice K. Simon in Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas H. Simon Jr., his maternal grandfather Herman G. Brown, and his paternal grandparents Thelma and Thomas Simon Sr.

Thomas is survived by his mother Janice, one sister Jodi Simon Crowe, one niece Chelsea, one nephew Ryan Thomas, his Grandmother Virginia “Ginny” Brown, Two Uncles Steve Brown (Amy) and Mike Simon (Andrea), Two Aunts Joyce Laine and Sharon Carpenter (Kirby) and Many cousins; Stevie, Eddie, Jeff, Mikey, Jon, Frankie, Brad and Matt and His Love Kelly Rose Simon and her children Talon & Kelsey McClara.

Tom Bill loved attending and watch Nascar every chance he had, and his favorite driver was Dale Jr.. He loved spending time in his backyard either with friends around the fire pit or target practice with his guns.

Tom Bill has had his eyes on the sky since the age of 16 when he first received his pilot’s license. Tom Bill has spent his life since then working on airplanes as an Aircraft Inspector at the Brown Flying School. He graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1990 and Ivy Tech Community College in 1992 then attended the Baker’s School of Aeronautics.

In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Terre Haute Human Society or Riley’s Children’s Foundation. A Celebration of Life will be Monday Nov.10th at Roselawn Funeral Home from 4-7PM with a service at 7 PM. Per his wishes cremation is scheduled.
