Virginia Lucille Thompson

Virginia “Genny” Lucille Thompson, 95, of Terre Haute went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2015. She was born on October 27, 1919, in Clay County, Indiana to Sadie Ann Thompson and Edward S. Thompson. She was retired from Quaker Maid.

Virginia is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey Gilley and Mildred Beadle, and a brother Ray Thompson.

Virginia was a lifelong member of Cross Tabernacle Church. For many years she served as the secretary treasurer of the Sunday school department. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Thomas Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015, at Cross Tabernacle Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Keith Taylor Officiating.
