

Christine Trevino, of Terrell, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sept. 29, 2015 in Kaufman, Tx. She was born March 5, 1946 in San Antonio, TX to Chris and Benita (Badillo)Trevino, both of whom preceded her in death along with her grandson, Rene DeLeon, sister, Benny; brothers: Vanancio, Beto and Manuel. Christine moved to the Terrell area in 1980 and she was an employee at Southland Manufacturing for over 30 years. She had an incredible work ethic. Her spirit of self-reliance was a trademark of her personality and served as a steady reminder of how responsible Christine always was. She was a steadfast and loyal lady who only asked that others give her the same truth that she gave to them. Christine loved her fmailiy and she rarely missed any gathering that they had together. A longtime and devoted member of Rockwall and Brin Church of Christ, Christina knew that being a servant was the best reflection of her Savior. She was a wonderful and strong lady who leaves a legacy of strength and trustworthiness to her beloved family and her friends Christina is survived by her daughters: Irene DeLeon of Terrell, JoAnn Martinez of Irving; grandchildren: Erica DeLeon, Christi Marie DeLeon, Veronica Ordonez, Eddie Martinez, Diana Martinez, and Rachel Martinez; great grandchildren: Kendra, Victoria, Rene, Clarissa, Monica, Elizabeth, Erica Nicole, Emily, Jason, Alex, Ruben, Marcos, Brianna and Brandon; five sisters and brothers as well as many other extended family and friends who loved and respected her dearly. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Thursday, Oct. 1, at the funeral home.
