Eugene was a special man to me. He befriended me back in the early 1980’s while working a second job as an electrician. He use to get a kick out of tying up my Dallas line to get his Greyhound bus driving schedule. He use to just laugh knowing I needed that line to get my work done. Wish I could share those memories again with him and give him another laugh. I’m one that’s lucky enough to have several memories of Eugene. He did things for me and trusted me when he didn’t have to. I’ll always remember him fondly. RIP Eugene.
