
Kenneth D. Beadle, formerly of Terrell, passed away March 6, 2015 in Rockwall. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at College Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Monday, March 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Kenneth was born Oct. 9, 1930 in Sylvania, OH to William and Thelma (Bickel) Beadle, both of whom preceded him in death along with his beloved wife of 43 years, Mary Ferne Beadle in 1996 and siblings: Sonny, Ronnie, Alice and Marcella. Kenneth graduated from Burnham HS in Sylvania after which he enlisted and served in the US Air Force retiring after 21 years of distinguished service. Kenneth then went to work for the US Postal Service and retired from there after 20 years. However even after retiring ‘formally’, he still continued as a rural route letter-carrier for several more years. He enjoyed golf, traveling, singing and high school sporting events. Kenneth believed in education and enjoyed learning new things especially about his Savior, Jesus. Kenneth made sure to always take any opportunity to increase his knowledge and he attended and graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute where he received a degree in theology and later became an ordained minister which allowed him act in supporting roles for many local ministers He was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Terrell where he taught many Bible studies, Sunday school and the youth department. His love for his Savior was a hallmark of his character and Kenneth made sure to share the Good News in any situation with anyone so that all could know the redemptive power of his Heavenly Father in their own lives. A man with a dedicated work ethic who also had a wonderful servant’s heart for God’s people, Kenneth set an example of how to succeed at creating the lasting legacy that his family will cherish. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his children: Debbie Guy and husband Ronnie, of New Port Richey, FL, Sharrah Shuler and husband, Mickey, of Dallas, Kenny Beadle and wife, Debbie of Terrell, Nancy Nicholson and husband, Nick, of Rockwall; grandchildren: Jeremy Cooley and wife, Heather, Terrah Cathey, Ryan Shuler, Brittani Kasey and husband, Tony, Brandon Beadle and wife, Dawn, Holly Beadle, Aaron Beadle, Christina Fauber and husband Caleb, Timothy Nicholson and wife Sarah; great grandchildren: Trevor, Jace, Max, Rowen, Anniston, Isaac and Ephraim; siblings: Gary, Willie, Jay, Karen and Norma. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at College Mound Cemetery.
