Mary Louise Duff

Mary Louise Duff, passed away peacefully in her home on July 2, 2015, in Terrell, Texas surrounded by loving family and friends. Louise was born on October 20, 1945, in Terrell, Texas to Frank and Hulda O’Neal. She was a lifelong resident of Terrell and a member of The Able Springs Church of Christ. She attended Terrell Schools. Louise was employed by Brookshire’s and J C Penny’s for many years. Louise was preceded in death by her mother, Mary H. O’Neal; Father, Frank H. O’Neal; brother, Harold Lee O’Neal, and sister, Peggy Jean Mikos. At the tender young age of 16, she found her lifelong soul mate, Cooley Duff who was 18, of Hazard, KY. They married on January 9, 1963 and to this union three beloved children were born: Frank Scott Duff, Rebecca Ann Duff, and David Christopher Duff. She is survived by her devoted husband, Cooley Duff; son, Scott Duff and Maria Tankersley of Terrell, TX; daughter, Becky Pressgrove and husband, Corey of Lakeville, MN; son, David Duff and wife Tamara of Saint Johnsville, NY; granddaughter, Jordan Nelson; grandsons: Joshua Horton, Austin Duff and Roger Cummings; sister, Nina Olson and husband, Kenny of Crosby, Texas as well as several loving nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Louise is also survived by her best friend and sidekick for more than 50 years, Linda McSpadden (“Aunt Linda”) of Terrell, Texas. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at Ables Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Monday, July 6, 2015 at the funeral home.
