
Sue Lynn Gentry, of Cash, Texas, passed away July 4, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born March 9, 1964 to Jerry and Linda Smithey. Sue Lynn was preceded in death by her Mother, Linda Smithey Price, Step Mother Pam Smithey, Niece Celeste Wigley, Grandparents, R.T. Milner and Betty Parker, and Arthur and Ruby Garrett, Great Grandparents Lillie and Noel Cassel. Sue enjoyed the simple things in life – working, spending time with her friends and family, motorcycle rides with Carl, and caring for her cats. She loved the outdoors and was happiest when she was busy outside. Sue was a hard worker and never shied away from a difficult job. Sue was a somewhat private person and she was never one to burden others. She had a great sense of humor and used it often to cover up when things were tough. Always speaking in her very animated way and making light of things so no one would worry. Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her longtime companion, Carl Walls of Cash, son, Richard Terrell Gentry and wife Charli, and expected grandchild of Greenville, father Jerry Smithey and wife Vanessa of Royse City, grandfather, Homer Parker of Mesquite, sister, Carol Wigley and husband Chuck of Terrell, nieces Candice Wigley and fiancé Chance Willhoit and Chandler Wigley of Terrell, step sister Monica Ruff and husband Danny and family of Royse City, step sister Brandy Nalls and husband Winston and family of Royse City, as well as several aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel in Terrell with interment to follow at Campground Cemetery in Poetry. The family will receive friends during visitation on Monday, July 7, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
