

Bessie J. Fraser, 86, of Texarkana, AR passed away September 2, 2011 in a local nursing home. Ms. Fraser was born September 17, 1924 in Lewisville, AR. She was a member of County Avenue Baptist Church. She had a special love for the Texarkana Baptist Orphanage. Mrs. Fraser was a member in the Mimosa Garden Club,Life member of Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs and was co-owner of Fraser Sales and Service a/c and plumbing.Mrs. Fraser taught bible school for many years she was a special lady who loved our Lord, and would do anything for anyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband Buster Fraser, parents Samuel E. Harvey and Corrie Gulledge,two sons Andy and Lee Fraser, brother Captain Charles V.H. Harvey, sister Bane Harvey, nephew Charles F. Harvey, niece Marsha Otwell, great-granddaughter Tiffany Fraser and great-greatgrandson Ayden Carter Tittle.
Survivors include two sisters and their husbands Carol and Charles Turley of Genoa, AR and Susie and Tom Chadwick of Waco, TX; five granddaughters and their husbands Lisa and Ed Martin of Tulsa, OK, Tienna McCrary of hooks, TX, Susan and Mark Akins of Texarkana, AR, Stacey and Clay Adcock of Texarkana, AR, and Melinda and Jeff Wilkie of Missouri; two grandsons Bryan Fraser of Hot Springs, AR and Philip and Sheena Fraser of Hooks, TX; one special nephew Steve Harvey of Texarkana, AR;18 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral service will be 10am Monday, September 5, 2011 at County Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Copeland officiating.
Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm Sunday, September 4, 2011 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family will be at 63 Meadowview Dr., Texarkana, AR.
