Betty Chandler

Betty Chandler, age 96, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Betty was born November 1, 1925 in Dallas, TX. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Gateway Garden Club, multiple bridge clubs; P.E.O.; and she volunteered at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bill Chandler and sister, Charlotte Goodwin.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Charlotte Chandler, RSCJ of Texarkana, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David W. Chandler, II and Karen of Livermore, CA, Warren Lee Chandler and Clarissa of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and William H. Chandler, Jr. and Elsie of Milpitas, CA; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren as well as numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2pm Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Chellaian and Rev. William Burmester officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Rosary will be 7pm Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with visitation to follow at 7:30pm at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
