Betty Jo Griffith, 85, of Texarkana, TX passed away January 30, 2019 in a local hospital. Mrs. Griffith was born July 21, 1933 in Spears, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wayne Griffith and a grandson, Philip Marbut.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Paula Griffith of Texarkana, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Richard Peel of Wake Village, TX and Cynthia and Don Burr of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren, Michelle Huggins, Alison Burr and Matthew Burr; great grandchild, Mason Huggins; a number of nieces and nephews; and hundreds of tax and bookkeeping clients who she considered family.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at East Funeral Home - Downtown.

There will be a private family graveside service.
