Bobbie Jean Belk Cutshall of Texarkana, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Cutshall was born Wednesday, June 1, 1938 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was retired from Federal Express, having opened the original Federal Express location here in Texarkana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Cutshall; her father, Raymond Belk; her mother, Avaneil Adams Belk Kastner; a brother, Raymond Neil Belk, and a sister, Karen Belk Banks.
She was a loving devoted mother to, and leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Linda Kite Scott and her husband, Randy of Texarkana, Texas. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Lance Aaron Scott, of Texarkana, Texas; Taylor Katherine Scott, of Texarkana, Texas; Jennifer Ytzen, of Redwater, Texas; and, James Bright of Texarkana, Arkansas–they could do no wrong in her eyes and she never missed an opportunity to let the world know what a proud grandmother she was. Bobbie also leaves her loving sister, Judy Matthews of Texarkana, Texas; devoted brother and sister-in-law, John and Carolyn Belk of Texarkana, Arkansas, and sister, Elaine Pressnell, of Genoa, Arkansas. Other survivors include step-daughters Vickie Weeks and Patricia Smallwood, both of New Boston, Texas; three great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Those who knew her knew an avid fisherwoman, huntress, and someone who never met a stranger. She loved to visit with anyone, anytime, anyplace–and if she could talk about her grandchildren, it was even better! She was always there to kiss away the tears; she was the cheerleader in the grandstands; she was the chauffeur when needed, and she could even occasionally be found driving the golf cart! When she picked up a crochet hook, she was able to turn ordinary string into beautiful works of art; she leaves behind several heirloom pieces for her family to treasure, and a few for sister Judy to help finish! Bobbie also loved gardening and all kinds of flowers; she was drawn to them like a child to ice cream and just delighted in having fresh flowers of any kind.
