Byrdie Kirkwood

Byrdie Kirkwood, 92 of Texarkana, AR. passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 in a local Hospital. Mrs. Kirkwood was born November 30, 1917 in Bassett, TX. She was retired from College Hill Junior High School and was a member of Apostolic Tabernacle Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Bailey Kirkwood and granddaughter Asheila Reed.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law Linda and Eardie Reed of Texarkana, AR; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Zoanne Kirkwood of Fouke, AR; four sisters Bertha Suggitt of Texarkana, TX, Donnie Barnett of Logansport, LA, Mattie Choate of Cleveland, TX, and Mollie Pearce of Texarkana, TX; five grandchildren Jason and Krissi Henry of Texarkana, AR., Andy and Ashlee Kirkwood of Texarkana, TX., Amy Kirkwood and Anna Beth Kirkwood both of Fouke, AR; six great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 4P.M. Monday at the Apostolic Tabernacle with the Revs. J.B. Yelverston and Roger Mixon. Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will be at the home of Jim and Zoanne Kirkwood, 503 MC 41, Fouke, AR.
