

He was born May 14,1948 to Alfred Cotham and Dorothy (Dunn) Cotham who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean Powers Cotham.
He is survived by four children and their spouses: Charles Christopher Cotham, Amy Cotham, James and Rachelle Taylor, and Catherine and Chad Felicetty.
His survivors also include grandchildren and their spouses Josh and Tina Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Dylan and Megan Felicetty, Garrett and Isabelle Felicetty, and Averie Felicetty.
He had three great grandchildren, Logan Felicetty and Maverick and Memphis Taylor.
He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Dennis and Becky Winham and their children Kelly Harris and Joey Winham. A half-brother, David Thomas Cotham, also preceded him in death.
Charles was a life-long lover of architecture and building. He designed or built several buildings in the Texarkana area including the family home where he and Jean resided.
For the majority of his career he worked for Davis Lumber in Texarkana.
He was a graduate of Arkansas High School (class of 1966) and Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia (formerly Southern State University).
He was a life-long Baptist.
Visitation will be 4pm to 5pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with a Celebration of Life service at 5pm. Burial will be in Rondo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rondo Cemetery at PO Box 3343 Texarkana, TX 75504.
