Charlie Ward, 71 of Texarkana, Texas passed away February 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family Mr. Ward was born November 10, 1944 in Hope,Arkansas . He worked many years at International Paper Company in customer service and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Paula Ward of Texarkana, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Missy and Frankie George of Texarkana, AR, Stacy and Matt Hanna of DeKalb, TX, and Kim Ward of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren and their spouses, Will Button, Whitt Button, Dalton Hanna, Dylan Hanna, Darcee Hanna;, Ashley and Bryan Waller, Shianne and Timothy Greenhill and Sarah George; brother and sister-in-law, Rod and Brenda Ward; sister and brother-in-law, Janey and Flip Wilson and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Catherine and Moise Marchand.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2016 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane with Fig Coleman officiating.
