Mr. Horn was born September 15, 1918 in Taylor, Arkansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church Moores Lane and a Air Force Veteran. Dana and his wife, Melba, own and operate the Queen Plantation Farm and Hunting Club. Dana spent many happy hours and days on his beloved farm.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Horn of Texarkana, Texas, son, Danavon Horn of Palm Desert, California, daughter, Lonna Gwen Horn of Franklin, TN and son Gary Horn of Riverside, California, a sister, Gwen Havens of El Dorado, AR and a brother, W. C. "Sonny" Horn of El Dorado, AR and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date at his beloved farm, where his ashes will be spread.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church-Moores Lane.
