Darline Elder

Darline Elder, 90, of Texarkana, TX passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 peacefully in her home. She was born November 3, 1931 in Genoa, AR. Mrs. Elder was an exceptional person to those who knew her. She had the ability to brighten a room and treated others with love and caring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Hampton Church of Christ and a retired owner of Elder Furniture.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, J.B. Elder, and a son, Howard Lee Elder. Survivors include her son, Larry Elder of Jakarta, Indonesia; two grandchildren, Steven Elder of Cedar Park, TX and Jennifer Elder of Kerrville, TX; four great Grandchildren, Dillon Cavitt, Rebecca Babyak, Nathaniel Elder and Rowan Elder and numerous other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 8th, 2022 at East Funeral Home – Moores Lane with Brother Jerry Monholland officiating.

Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.
