Mr. Whitehurst was survived by his wife Wilma Whitehurst of Texarkana, TX; son Mike Whitehurst of Texarkana, TX; four daughters Cindy Roy of Wake Village, TX, Pam Leeper of Texarkana, TX, Jedonia Hardin McPherson of Tuson, AZ, and Marla Gann Bracey of Blytheville, AR: sister Patricia Jeschek of Woodland Park, CO; brother Bill Whitehurst, Sr. of Texarkana, AR.; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 2pm Saturday, January 29, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane.
Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
